Uwe Rosenberg, designed by Theodoros Filosofos, lets you gain energy when water overflows your dams, turning excess into a continuous advantage.
Paolo Mori, designed by Mario Rossi & Federico Pinto, grants you a private reservoir in which you can move and store water, allowing you to redistribute it freely, controlling the water flows during the game.
Phil Walker-Harding, designed by Matthew Johnson, allows you to modify the construction wheel by placing a special tile on it, effectively shortening it.
Martin Wallace, designed by Dong-Dong, lets your wheel spin an additional space whenever you run out of resources after a building action. Plan carefully and speed up your wheel!
Paul Grogan, designed by Aleksanteri Karanka, gives you a special action that generates enhanced water, which is converted into extra energy. A direct way to increase the efficiency of your production.
Man VS Meeple (Ryan Schoon), designed by Benjamin Schindler, lets you replicate a technology tile from the market and integrate it into your system, allowing you to adapt to available strategy without relying on the draft.
David Turczi, designed by Mauro Marinetti, allows you to use contracts multiple times, increasing the value of each opportunity and giving you a significant boost to your economic efficiency.
Alexander Pfister, designed by Korbinian Pürckhauer, is a demolitionist! It gives you the ability to destroy your own structures through a personal action, rewarding you with some very attractive bonuses.
Tom Vasel, designed by Alex Munger, lets you gain additional workers powered by energy that effectively act as extra engineers. The more you produce, the more you can activate them, though at the cost of precious energy.
Mac Gerdts, designed by Evan Bowen & Merit, gives you the ability to build on neutral dams, rewarding you with benefits when you and others produce. This opens the floodgates to interactive strategies that reward shared control.
Antoine Bauza, designed by Alessio Belli, lets you build special turbines that increase production output, providing an additional boost to your strategies.
Vital Lacerda, designed by Giuseppe Indomenico, allows you to transform your infrastructure into a source of passive income. When other players use your conduits, you receive a portion of the energy produced.
Tomáš Holek, designed by Thorsten Bahr, will help you unlock increasingly powerful bonuses by utilizing Neutral Dams. However, this comes with careful planning, as you need to produce using different power plants.
Matthew Dunstan, designed by Greg Janson,allows you to place an engineer on the wheel when building. You'll be able to retrieve it as a free action to gain bonuses based on the wheel section it is currently located upon.
Bruno Cathala, designed by Liam O’Shea, is a proper investor! It will make you invest some coins on the wheel, but it will give you a nice advantage when they complete a full rotation! A nice solution to turn economic resources into time and strategy advantages.
Virgilio Gigli & Flaminia Brasini, designed by Vito Longo & Marco Lasorsa, grants you the ability to recover the water that naturally leaves the map. You can place the drops on your board and spend them to activate interesting effects. This way, you can convert what would normally be lost into power.

Just a quick word, reminding all of you that Barrage Earned Authority just started its last week here on kickstarter; the campaign will close on April 28! In the meantime, we're revealing the various XOs that make up Earned Authority.

Something is coming. And it started with you.

A while back, we threw out a challenge. We asked you to design an XO for Barrage, and honestly? We didn't know what to expect. What happened next surprised us.
Hundreds of you answered the call. The creativity, the passion, the attention to detail…it was clear from the very first submissions that this community takes Barrage seriously. And so do we.
This project was born from a simple but meaningful idea, and we want to be fully transparent about it. When Simone Luciani started thinking about this final chapter of Barrage, he had two things in mind. The first was the community. Barrage has always been kept alive by the people who love it, who continue to play it, talk about it, and bring new players to the table. The community is the living, beating heart of this game, and it felt only right that it had a real, creative role in completing it.
Original designers for the various XOs will be credited both on the XO tile and inside the rulebook.
The second was a personal one. Simone wanted to pay tribute to the world of board game design, to fellow designers and friends whose work he deeply admires. The idea was to bring some of them into the Barrage universe, imagining iconic figures from the hobby inside this uchronian setting. Designers like Uwe Rosenberg, living alongside the machinery and the rivers of Barrage. It felt fun, it felt meaningful, and it felt like the right way to close this chapter. Alongside the designers, some of the content creators who have helped bring Barrage to new audiences over the years will also be part of this tribute.
Two worlds, one project. The community and the people who shaped the hobby that we all love.
Simone Luciani and Tommaso Battista went through every single proposal and chose 16 XOs. Sixteen designs born from this community that will be officially produced and will complete the Legendary Box of Barrage.
But without any further ado, let’s dive into a little teaser for the first 4 XOs:
The first one is fromTheodoros Filosofos and is associated to Uwe Rosenberg. With its power, you can turn excess water into a continuous strategic advantage.
The second one is fromMario Rossi & Federico Pinto and is associated to Paolo Mori. This XO allows you to control the flow from your private reservoir.
The third one is from Matthew Johnson and it is associated to Phil Walker-Harding. It allows you to "modify" the construction wheel with a special tile, but also requires to pay a small "fee" as a compensation.
The fourth one is from Dong-Dong (東東) and it is associated to Martin Wallace. This XO helps your wheel spin faster whenever you run out of resources after a building action. Careful planning's the name of the game!
Think about what that means. The Legendary Box, one of the most ambitious projects we have ever worked on, will be completed not just by us, but by you.
The final piece of the puzzle is a community piece.
The campaign goes live on April 7, 2026. The pre-launch page is up right now. Follow it, and you will be the first to know when we go live.

we're back with some updates on the shipping wave status of the campaign, and with a piece of news at the bottom of this update!
Wave 2 (Legendary Box with Far Companies inside)
EU: wave complete
Wave 3 (add-on orders with Far Companies, without Legendary Box)
US: Delivered to the US hub and currently in fulfillment. CAN: Wave 3 complete. ASIA: Delivery in progress.

IMPORTANT: Any request sent to a different email address or through a different channel will not be processed. We therefore ask you to follow this guideline, to help us work more efficiently and to speed up our daily request handling as much as possible.
We are receiving a very large volume of requests and we know this is taking us a lot of time, but we are sorting through and processing all of your requests and we expect to reach completion soon, we just ask for a little more patience!
On the subject of requests, we ask you to send only one email per issue, as sending multiple identical requests could overload the mailbox and cause inconvenience to other users who, like you, are trying to reach us for support on their order.
And now, about the news we mentioned...
A few months ago we launched a challenge for you: to design an XO. Many of you responded, and honestly the quality of the submissions surprised us. A genuine thank you to everyone who took part.
Simone Luciani and Tommaso Battista got to work and selected 16 community-driven XOs that will be produced by us and will make up the community addition to the Legendary Box of Barrage.
To make it even more special, each XO will be paired with an iconic figure from the board game world. Who? We're not saying anything for now, but we're already working on the Kickstarter campaign and the pre-launch page is live.

FULFILLMENT UPDATE + HOW TO SETUP YOUR BOX + ON DAMAGED BOXES AND COMPONENTS

Hello everyone,
We are back with some more news on the fulfilment status of the various shipping waves.
Europe: Fulfillment in progress, shipments should now be complete.
Asia: The fulfillment centre received the goods on 28/01/2026 and has already started sending parcels to the relevant regional HUBs for other countries not served directly from China.
US: Fulfillment nearing completion. Wave 1 should be almost entirely finished.
CANADA: Fulfillment completed
WAVE 2 - Legendary Boxes containing The Far Companies
Europe: Fulfillment in progress and nearing completion. The products were received by the European fulfillment centre on 26 January 2026. Asia: Shipments of Legendary Boxes containing The Far Companies should be nearing completion. For this wave, VFI Asia is also sending packages to various regional hubs for final delivery. In China, fulfillment should be almost complete. Delivery is underway to countries far from China or separated by sea. We remind Asian Backers that, unfortunately, due to the Chinese New Year, there may be some delays or slowdowns in the delivery chain. We are working to speed up this wave of shipments as much as possible.
US & CANADA: Fulfillment nearing completion.
WAVE 3 - Add-on orders with unpaired Far Companies (No legendary box)
EUROPE: Fulfilment underway since mid-January. We are about to complete order shipments. ASIA: Packages are on their way to VFI Asia and are expected to reach the destination hub on 9 March. US: ETA arrival of our shipments to our distribution partner in the United States is 3 March 2026. CANADA: Our shipment arrived yesterday, 18 February 2026, at the port. Pickup by our distribution partner will take place soon. Shipments should begin shortly.
HOW DO I PUT THE ITEMS IN THE BOX?
We have received several requests regarding how to put the various components inside the box. Although everything is clearly written on the sides of the Legendary Box itself, we understand that some people may find it inconvenient to receive information in this way, so we have recorded a video (homemade, please forgive us) with a breakdown of the components of the various trays and a complete ‘Setup’ of the Box at the end. We hope you find it useful.
ABOUT DAMAGED LEGENDARY BOXES AND MISSING COMPONENTS
Our customer service department is currently overwhelmed with work. We are doing our best to handle all requests and are working to process both older and more recent emails so that requests do not pile up. Please, send your requests ONLY to [email protected]. Requests sent to different e-mails will not be taken care of.
However, given the volume of reports, we need time to process everything.
In any case, please do not worry. Even if your email does not receive an immediate response, it will still be taken into consideration. We are collecting all requests for replacements and missing components, so we ask for your patience.
No one will be forgotten.
